Saturday we met Carly Patterson!!!! What a cool experience!!!! The 2004 Olympic Gold Champion was very down to earth and friendly. The kids got to ask questions, then Carly Signed her new book for the kids. We had a good time. Kirah was very excited! Carly also sang alittle ditty for us. She is persuing a singing career. She sounds good!
Sunday Kirah's meet went good. Her lack of practice because of her knee showed at this meet.She has tendinitus in the patella(Spelling ?)So she missed quite a few. Anyways, she did bring home a metal tho. She got 4th place on floor. She was very happy with that! When she is happy we are happy.God bless her, she is amazing! God has given her a passion for this sport.She loves it. Well after the meet we went to Ruby Tuesdays for lunch with Gianna,Brianna,& Christinaand their families. Amber and I had an ice cream,The bowl was the size of 3-4 cereal bowls put together. It had Chocolate cake in the middle covered with vanilla ice cream,carmel,and oreo whip cream!!!!! AWSOMEEEE!!!!!! we couldn't finish it. We were totally stuffed!!!lol Everyone was egging us on to finish.Well to my friends and family I'm glad your able to share in our experiences.
